The train dream had a realistic, spooky feel to it, especially since most people don't ride trains much anymore. The ending triggered a lot of speculation. At first it seemed horrific that Marybeth would have to re-live her worst nightmare, but what if the doctor could manipulate her in the dream state to realize she did not cause it? Marybeth could finally let go of her guilt and the OCD it produced. That would be a good thing. That's a big if. And could Marybeth build a new life after the event that had dominated it was taken away? Scary stuff, but that's what you intended, wasn't it? Thanks for the wonderful ride.
